Job Description
Overview

The Deposit Services Lockbox Specialist processes incoming lockbox payments with a high level of accuracy, and within stated service levels.


Responsibilities

  • Open, extract, and process Wholesale and Retail remittance payments.
  • Input and key required data fields on client remittance transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Process account transactions in accordance to each clients' specified handling instructions.
  • Identify process improvements to create efficiencies and improve accuracy of processing.
  • Complete work in a timely manner without jeopardizing quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate any customer processing issues with Lockbox Manager and applicable account officers.
  • Collect daily totals to assist in completion of monthly reporting.
  • Communicate with Bankers regarding relevant client matters, including setup of lockbox.
  • Remain current with regulatory matters relating to lockbox services.
  • Work independently to complete job assignments, while effectively utilizing all Bank systems and technology.
  • Support and uphold the vision, values and mission of CrossFirst.
  • Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
  • Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Represent the Bank and Lockbox team in a highly professional manner.
  • Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
  • Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Reliable and predictable onsite attendance.

Expected hours of work:

  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, generally an eight-hour shift, between the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm CST.

Qualifications

  • Proficient 10-key skills.
  • Ability to identify, problem solve and exercise good judgment.
  • Quality conscious, detail minded individual who is able to work independently and multi-task
  • Proficient in PC experience in a Windows environment; including, but not limited to Word, Access, Power Point is preferred and Excel is required.
  • Basic understanding of banking regulations and Federal Reserve rules highly preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
