Your Job

Koch-Glitsch is currently hiring an Inside Sales Representative to support their Mist Elimination business. This role will be responsible for working with Schedulers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure timely completion of quotes to provide excellent support for our customers. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for replacement equipment sales and managing business relationships. To be successful in this role, you must have a keen attention to detail, sense of urgency, critical thinking skills and an ability to take ownership of developing a sales strategy.


Our Team

This position is a member of our Inside Sales Representatives that sell Separations Technology solutions from our Wichita, KS campus. This team is instrumental in generating a significant portion of our overall (Separations and Mass Transfer) Americas Replacement Sales Team's annual revenue.

What You Will Do

  • Interpret basic drawings for estimating of products
  • Prepare and issue quotations for customers
  • Follow up on quotes to ensure timely delivery
  • Develop regional sales strategies and account targeting
  • Order entry completions
  • Respond to customer service inquiries
  • Work one paid on call weekend per month.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience effectively addressing and resolving customer queries and concerns


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems
  • Previous experience in Inside Sales
  • Experience in Collections
  • Experience reading and interpreting basic drawings
  • Experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience working with Salesforce software
  • Experience preparing, and issuing customer quotes
