The IBT Programmer Analyst/Developer consolidates and transforms diverse data sets of structured and unstructured data from various program and business systems to a common accessible format. Develops business applications/modules in visual basic, SQL, XTML, etc to raise productivity, improve decision making and gain competitive advantage. Establishes relationships between diverse program activities' data artifacts to enhance convergence and integration. Automates data collection, processing, and periodic reporting activities thru collaboration with application users, system analysts, database architects, and other technical personnel in functional areas requiring knowledge and proficiency in business processes.

Key Accountabilities:

The IBT Programmer Analyst/Developer provides Program Management support and the tasks include but not limited to the following:

  • Automate IBT, IPT and Operations reports and data collection
  • Develop/Maintain Business Process application databases
  • Design and capitalize on digital workflows to maximize data collection and reporting functionality
  • Migrate administrative databases into the application development/management foundation
  • Model ETL (Export, Transform, Load) activities to sync databases to other data platforms
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance or develop new applications/visualizations/workflows
  • Create user guides and application documentation
  • Develop and maintain program performance reporting for internal and external requirements

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of professional coding/programming experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
  • Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional coding/programming experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (focus on Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, and/or Project Management highly preferred)
  • An active DoD Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated experience in/knowledge of Application Development in Visual Basic, SQL, Java, Python, MS Visual Studio and/or MS Access
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite of tools
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, innovative behaviors, and the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
  • Experience working & negotiating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong written & oral communication skills
  • Skills related to Project Management, Financial Acumen, Business Acumen, Managing with Influence, Interpersonal relationships and communication, Team building, and/or Continuous improvement
